ACAP

Grazia a Dio per questo ottimo appoggio all'Acap, è una risposta alle preghiere del fondatore e di molti credenti di altre Acap: Dante e Inday, titolari di un phone center e alimentari per filippini nella zona di Ottaviano, si sono messi a completa disposizione dell'Acap per fornire la lista del lavoro e la raccolta di cibi e indumenti da consegnare ai poveri in Italia e/o all'estero e da inviare alle popolazioni colpite da povertà, guerre o disastri naturali.
La loro disposizione è dal lunedì alla domenica tutti i giorni dall 8 alle 21 (No-Stop!) inclusi i giorni di natale, pasqua e ferragosto! Questo è l'orario dell'esercizio, e questo è l'orario dell' Acap di Ottaviano... a disposizione di chiunque per consegnare la lista delle offerte di lavoro per uomini e donne (ovviamente provvisti di un regolare permesso di soggiorno o cittadini UE, in linea agli adempimenti della legge italiana sull'immigrazione).

Ringraziamo il Signore per la disponibilità di Dante e Inday: per il loro amore per il prossimo, la loro pazienza nel consegnare a decine e decine di persone durante la settimana la lista delle offerte di lavoro, e grazie anche per la raccolta di cibi e indumenti da consegnare ai poveri (un cartone vicino alle cabine con insegna Acap è sempre posizionato accanto ad una cabina telefonica).
All'interno dell'Acap di Ottaviano si sono tenuti anche dei momenti (seppur sporadici per ovvi motivi, essendo un luogo di lavoro) di condivisione spirituale della Parola di Dio (Bible Sharing), sono intervenuti credenti filippini e non - che hanno accettato il Signore Gesù come loro personale Salvatore e Signore e la Bibbia come unica autorità in materia di fede e la salvezza per grazia - e hanno condiviso la Buona Novella con i presenti: clienti e curiosi. Ringraziamo il Signore per il desiderio di Inday che si implementino e si consolidino tali momenti, ella è non solo consenziente ma anche molto entusiasta che si continui in questa direzione. Il Signore ci ricorda di predicare la Sua Parola "a tempo e fuor di tempo" (2 Timoteo 4:2), ovviamente senza esagerare per non creare malumori.

In questa vediamo il gruppo di Acap Ottaviano quando si è riunito in Via Barletta (angolo con Metro Ottaviano), il locale era molto piccolo allora ci siamo trasferiti in Via Paolo Mercuri. Nella foto si vede in piedi da sinistra : Sophia, Francesca, Emely, Teresa (con il foglio Acap Ottaviano) , Malou, Tessie, e dietro a loro Pasquale e George Cadag, Mariana, ecc.
Acap members like to share the "Agape" form of love (there are 3 other types of love: Fileo, Epithumia, Eros). Agape is the most sublime and high form of loving which is the not focusing or hoping on any interest as a counterpart ... just like God's love to humanity through the Lord Jesus. One of the ways of practicing Agape is through food fellowship with all people (Christians and non Christians). In the photo up we can see Lina and Emely of Acap Lepanto.
Sister Lina started (after her experience at Acap Battistini) in a small room in Ottaviano before moving to Acap Lepanto, in the picture above we can see Teresa on her left and Rosita on her right, Maribel behind her, along with other Acap members.

are so sorry to announce that Rosita Rosella is no longer with us!
Rosita was a wonderful person (above photoes left and right), we don't say this because she's no longer with us, but because it is true. She was the very first Filipina who attended an Acap meeting right at the beginning when it was held in Via Suor Celestina Donati (Pineta Sacchetti area), she was very impressed by the free help given to the needy along with preaching the Gospel, so she shared Acap with all her friends. Later (early 2003) she brought Armand, Josie and their family and George Cadag, from there the Filipino started to hear about Acap... by the end of 2004 all Acap was composed by Filipinos! Thanks to the Lord...and thanks to Rosita who was used by the Lord. Rosita was a Bible believer, she never missed an occasion, while talking to me, to point out the grace of God and the truths of His word. Around January 2006 she started suffering a lot for a breast tumor and was hospitalised various times. I met her several times in the streets, and I visited her in hospital just a few months before her death: we shared for an hour God's grace and talked about the Bible and her sickness, and prayed. My impression was that she was sure to be in the hands of the Lord whatever would happen to her, and that was an amazing testimony to me. Rosita died in November 2006 in the Philippines. We thank the Lord for her witness and encouragement to all of us, and we pray for all the members of her family and friends. It is certainly a loss for Acap, but the Lord knows what is best for each and everyone of us.
