Acap Philippines - (Lipa City)

"A voice came out of the throne, saying: Praise our GOD, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great."

Yes indeed we want to deeply praise our GOD for this Acap , which was established in August 2005. We extend our deep thanks to the Founder of Acap Lipa City, Maribel Sol, for the practical help she has given to the poorest of the poor in that area, and especially to Quezon Province. The distribution of free food and clothings has been done simultaneously with the preaching of the Word of God. The coordinator of this Acap is Prescy Mancenido, who we deeply thank for her efforts.

(Acap does not permit to women to preach from a pulpit because the Word of God in 1°Corinthians 14:34 - and many other parts in the Bible to that effect - clearly state that "women must keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak" ...but we can of course see the very important role of women in the overall biblical context, so they can sometimes share their personal spiritual testimony, but only from the central part of the hall and not from a pulpit. Eve came from the central part of Adam's body, not from his head [pulpit] and neither from his foot, because she has equal dignity as man but with different role).

Acap is not a hierarchy, it is a network of unconnected Christians working autonomously. Acap does not have a specific headquarter. This disavowal is to clarify that each ACAP is runned independently, is totally self governed and detached from every other ACAP in all senses (doctrinally, financially, morally, legally, etc.), but all of them have in common the desire of offering to anyone free "Practical Help", combining it with the reading of the Word of God and prayer (James 2:14/18).
